Veggie Rolls In A Pinch

Do you like making little roll-up sandwiches for lunch or a snack? I've always loved mixing up some dill and cream cheese, spreading it onto a tortilla, adding some chopped cucumber and enjoying it as a cool, quick bite. It's one of my favorite things to cut up and bring to parties, too. But if you want to avoid the tortilla, there are lots of other ways to do it, too.

What's Inside A Marsupial Pouch?

As a kid, I remember marsupial pouches being something of a mysterious wonder, and I wished that I could have one to pull random things out of. While I'm glad that I don't have a pouch like that these days (nor a baby that tiny who has to crawl out to learn to survive), looking inside different marsupial pouches is nonetheless incredible. From the inside, it almost looks like an alien egg rather than a mammal from our planet!

Green Legos

If you buy Legos at all, you are already aware of how pricey the sets can be. My daughter loves Legos but only gets them as gifts on big holidays and birthdays, unless she saves up for them on her own, due to their price. So the price of the new green Legos, made out of sustainable plant-sourced plastic, really isn't a shocker, and the theme of the set, which is LEGO Creator Expert Vestas Wind Turbine Building Kit, isn't a surprise, either.

Extinct Leopard Resurfaces

Every day it seems like we're faced with the news of yet another species gone forever, another animal wiped out largely by our own selfish or ignorant (often both) actions. I read some good news about a leopard species previously thought to be extinct today: a clouded leopard species that was thought to be extinct previously was spotted in Taiwan recently, proving that the cat is still here with us.

Good Omens

Fans of both Stephen King and Neil Gaiman should be rejoicing this year. Both authors are being celebrated through multiple adaptations of their works: Stephen King has multiple films coming out as well as the second season of the homage to his library, Castle Rock, and Gaiman's got the Good Omens series being added on Amazon Prime alongside his Starz phenomenon American Gods.

President Trump Reduced The Size Of The Bears Ears National Monument To Benefit Energy Fuels Resources

President Barack Obama designated the Bears Ears National Monument (BENM) in December of 2016 in San Juan Country in southeastern Utah by Presidential Proclamation. The original size was about two million square miles. The area inside the monument was largely undeveloped and included a variety of historic, cultural and natural resources.
