Very well put, Lipps. My heart goes out to this trainer and her family but it's true--when you're dealing with a wild animal, expect him or her to behave like a wild animal. Respect its nature. And I love your concluding analogy:

"Imagine spending your entire life in a four-bedroom house with a guy named Steve and a bunch of bossy elves who give you fish when you flush the toilet for company. Exactly."

Exactly is right.
