Gay Penguins happy parents to a chick

A Humboldt penguin.Two male Humboldt penguins from the Bremerhaven Zoo in Germany have successfully hatched a chick that had been discarded by its natural parents a month prior. According to zoo staff the homolicious penguins are caring for the chick as a normal heterosexual penguin couple would.

"Another couple threw the egg out of their batch. We picked it up and put it in the nest of the gay penguins," veterinarian Joachim Schöne said.

The news of gay penguins is old business at Bremerhaven Zoo, where two other gay couples live fabulous penguin lives. Gay rights supporters were outraged when the zoo attempted to bring in four spicy hot female penguins to tempt the boys out of their pairings. Seems like the penguins should be able to pick their own mates regardless of the introduction of female penguins, but hey, we all need to get fired up about something right? Its not like the zoo duct-taped them together in hetero pairs. A Chinese gay penguin pair was removed from their emclosure temporarily after repeatedly stealing eggs from hetero pairs. Public outcry demanded the return of the pair. Once the zoo gave them a real egg of their own, the two turned out to be excellent parents.

"Since the chick arrived, they have been behaving just as you would expect a heterosexual couple to do," Bremehaven Zoo said.

Since the penguins have found fame they have been seen on Ibiza dancing away the night, sitting front row at Britney's Circus Tour, at Pride Day in San Francisco and they are scheduled to appear on Ellen next week.
