Dear Mary,
If you're new puppy won't sleep at night in her kennel simply place a hot water bottle that will last for a long time under a towel and let your puppy sleep on the hot water bottle. If she chews the bottle place a ticking clock either beside her or on top of her kennel. Thanks for asking the jr. dog expert!

the easiest thing to do to stop your dog from marking his territory on the carpet is to dab it(you'r carpet) with bicarb of soda.Dogs don't like this and they won't do it again.

to stop your dog from licking

to stop your dog from licking people's faces you should
take some margine/butter and put some on your face.
then say lick me, then say ENOUGH! do this many times through the day, start to stop using margine/butter
and make sure your dog stays down when you say enough
(you may kneel down in the process)
make sure you don't use too much margine/butter and to be sure he/she isn't allergic to it
what type of dog is he/she? that sometimes helps.

My puppy Princess Anastsia, a Toy Ratterior has been throwing up and has the runs. She has not ate anything to make her sick. Do you think worms would cause that? Can you please help me? I need to know what I can give her to make her feel better.

I have a nine month old shih tzu which, unfortunately and unknowing, I got at a not-so-reputable pet shop. He has a very vicious streak, which presented itself at the young age of 12 weeks. I started him in obedience school at that age and he still continues. Lately he has started snapping and biting at me in situations when he doesn't get his way. I do not believe in hitting him - he has been trained primarily through behavior modification. Now, though I'm at a loss. Pleae forward advice and/or solutions.

My dog has been acting perticularly strange lately. I just got a new dog for my older dog to play with. For some reason one dog gets on the other, and i think they're fighting, but then they sound like they're dying. What is wrong with my dogs? Please any help is needed. But actually it kind of turns me on.

I have found that it helps to let your dog know exactly what is the problem. When he licks you, you should simply lick him back. If the licking problem still continues you should pull out his tongue and put a hot match on it. I have found this method very effective. I hope I can help. Thanks!!!!
